Residents of the town were gracious hosts. Ausable River Nomads, the Exeter NCHA Chapter, organized for us, a weekend filled with interesting events and activities. Most of these involved many different people in the community. Entertainers, such as the • SIZES 26-42 • 14 OZ. PRE-WASHED DENIM • FLARE & STRAIGHT LEG SAVE OVER *5.00 OFF OUR REG. Friday evening the Ausable River Nomads ladies served coffee and cookies to a large and ap preciative audience while they were entertained by the Main Street Jug Band. Saturday, tours to Bendix and Dashwood Industries proved very popular. There was a great demand for tickets and those attending were well pleased with the tours. While some campers went to see these plants, hosted by their management, Mrs. Boyle, of Boyles’ Ladies Wear brought her beautiful fashions to the ladies of OPA at the Campground. Country Flowers and Ausable River Nomads ladies decorating of the hall and beautiful walk way for modelling the fashions made a very im pressive show. Local chapter served tea, coffee and fruit bread at the fashion show adding to the enjoyment. Saturday morning set the pace for a great weekend. Camping members were warm in their praise fofir Exeter chapter, in organizing this event. To do it required the complete co operation of the community involved. We would like to express the appreciation of our Pago 5 family, (we know we echo the sentiments of many NCHA families) to Exeter, for making our Victoria Day weekend most enjoyable, Thank you.
