Dear Editor:
Recently we were visitors
to Exeter, attending the OPA
spring campout of the
National campers and
Hikers Association.
Residents of the town were
gracious hosts.
Ausable River Nomads,
the Exeter NCHA Chapter,
organized for us, a weekend
filled with interesting events
and activities. Most of these
involved many different
people in the community.

the variety of talented en

brought great enjoyment to
the weekend.
Friday evening the
Ausable River Nomads
ladies served coffee and

they were entertained by the
Main Street Jug Band.
Saturday, tours to Bendix
and Dashwood Industries
proved very popular. There
was a great demand for
tickets and those attending
were well pleased with the
tours.
While some campers went
to see these plants, hosted by
their management, Mrs.
Boyle, of Boyles’ Ladies
Wear brought her beautiful

at the Campground. Country
Flowers and Ausable River
Nomads ladies decorating of
the hall and beautiful walk

fashions made a very im
pressive show. Local chapter
served tea, coffee and fruit
bread at the fashion show
adding to the enjoyment.
Saturday morning set the
pace for a great weekend.
Camping members were
warm in their praise fofir

organizing this event. To do
it required the complete co

We would like to express
the appreciation of our

Thank you.
