Agricrew set
in Oxford, Elgin
From June 25 to August 17,
two crews in Oxford and one
in Elgin can help with a wide
range of farm tasks. They
may be hired on a daily basis
when labour requirements
are at a peak.
An “Agricrew” consists of
five young people with farm

clean-up. Plus, they are
eager to gain varied ex
perience by working on
many farming operations
during the summer. One
crew member acts as
foreman and gives “on the
job” supervision.
The crews will be tran
sported to and from work
location and will bring their
own lunch. Also, the
Government helps to pay
their wages. For $90.00 per
day, you can aquire the
services of a crew and then
receive a $15 rebate at the
end of the program.
