TEMPLEMAN Jill Norris, Bill Smale and Terry Templeman were among the Mitchell High School glee club members who travelled to Paris and Niagara Falls this past week. Mr. & Mrs. Ernest Dow, Guelph visited on the weekend with Mr. & Mrs. Norman Dow and Dennis. Mr. & Mrs. Gordon Par­ sons, Mary and Mike and Mary Jane Templeman were guests at the Laidlaw wedding in Atwood Saturday evening. Mr. & Mrs. John Tem­ pleman and family visited Sunday with Mr. & Mrs. Jim Neilson, Stratford. PETER MARTIN Zion United Church an­ niversary service was held Sunday. Rev. M. E. Reuber, Stratford, brought the message for both morning and evening service. Miss Anne Reuber former missionary to Japan sang a special solo in the morning service and the choir provided a special anthem on the 100th psalm. Rev. Reuber was a former minister of this charge. He said it was almost 31 years to the day that he had preached his final sermon at Crediton. He reminisced on the former days and-brought a message based on John 14. The evening service featured special music by Peter Snell and friend. Coffee was served following the service and an old fashion hymn sing was en­ joyed by everyone. Personals Mr. & Mrs. Albert Van- derworp have purchased the former home of Mrs. Oestricher and have taken up residence there. We welcome them to our community and wish them all the best. Rev. & Mrs. Armin Schlenker were pleased to have Lloyd and his son Glenn Fahner from Sudbury visit with them this past week. They were going to visit Mrs. Lloyd Fahner who is a patient in Toronto General Hospital.
