Roll call was answered by a poem or scripture verse on prayer. Alter hours at local PO Grand Bend postmaster Gar Johnston has announced new hours for wicket service effective April 2. Wicket service will now be operative from 8:30-5:00 Monday to Friday while Saturday wicket service will be from 8:30 a.m. to 12. The changes are a result of a change in mail truck arrivals. Topic was on World Outreach and violations of Humans rights and convened by Hazel Blewett. Elda Adams conducted the worship service, opening with all singing the hymn “When I survey the won­ drous cross,” She read scripture from Hebrews and passages from the Fellowship of Prayer book. President, Eleanor Durie, presided for the business. Plans were discussed for the congregation supper for March 30, and for the Easter ecumenical to be hosted, HONS PUBLIC SPEAKING WINNERS Robert Holt of Grand Public School took the top spot in public speaking competition sponsored by the Grand' Bend Lions Club. Finishing second was Roxanne Woods of Stephen Central while the third place finisher was Carol Struyf of Bosanquet.
