Lioness club collect

driven by Cheryl Troelstra.

was estimated at $2,000 by
Constable R.J. Sawyers and
the driver sustained minor
injuries.

Grand Bend Lionesses
collected $1082.41 for the
March of Dimes campaign

worship service on the theme
of “Prayer”.

a poem or scripture verse on
prayer.

Gar Johnston has announced
new hours for wicket service
effective April 2.
Wicket service will now be
operative from 8:30-5:00
Monday to Friday while
Saturday wicket service will
be from 8:30 a.m. to 12.
The changes are a result
of a change in mail truck
arrivals.

United church women’s
regular meeting in the
Sunday school rooms of the
United church.

Fellowship of Prayer book.

Plans were discussed for the
congregation supper for
March 30, and for the Easter
ecumenical to be hosted,
HONS PUBLIC SPEAKING WINNERS Robert Holt of Grand Public School took the top spot in public speaking
competition sponsored by the Grand' Bend Lions Club. Finishing second was Roxanne Woods of Stephen Central while the
third place finisher was Carol Struyf of Bosanquet. Congratulating Robert on his performance is Lions president Frank Allister.

selections.
This was followed by
euchre and various other
games.
