NOT ALL BAD — While most adults may dislike heavy snowfall, that is not a viewpoint shared by the
youngsters. The mountains of snow provide fun places to slide and play. One such mountain of snow is near
the high school and Exeter youngsters Trevor Blue, Cindy Mathers and Lisa Blue are displaying smiles as they
enjoy an afternoon of sliding. Photo by Scott Batten

Who took Christ out of Christ-
mas?
I
In Bethlehem Judea, long, long
ago,
News, people and camels
travelled slow.
When God spoke the people
heard,
And had much faith in His every
word.
So on December 25th in the still of
the night
Far out to the east, a star shone
bright,
Three wise men heard a voice,
from way over there,
Saying: The Saviour is born, I'll
show you where,
They followed the Star without
any alarm,
Until it came to rest right over a
barn.
Inside was a baby, all warm with
love,
He was the Son of God, sent from
'above.
Jesus is the name God gave His
Son,
The Jews called him Christ, the
Annointed One.
The wise men's hearts were filled
with joy,
As they placed their gifts beside
the baby boy,
In this year nineteen hundred
and seventy-seven,
God's voice is fainter when it
comes from heaven.
Population and Progress came in
haste,
The poor could be happy with
what the rich waste,
The world rushes on at a
terrifying speed,
God still speaks but we people
don't heed,
It seems we have lost our sense of
direction,
Due to earthly powers and their
perfection,
There are blessings in abundance
on this God's land,
Where greed, lust and liquor have
the upper har,,i.
We live the Fly now, pay later
plan.
To pave the way it is not yet too
late.
For our meeting with God at The
Golden Gate.
Let us start right now, working
together,
And put Christ back in Christmas
for ever and ever.
