The pad is to be used for ice skating in the winter, roller skating in the summer. The civic minded fire fighters are also erecting a building to house equipment. U,C.W. We Remember Sunday the fallen war dead were remembered during the morning service in Zion United Church. Reg, Finkbeiner read the names of those who died in service, and quoted lines from "In Flanders Field". After a minute's tribute of silence, Doug Lewis sounded out on the organ the notes of The Last Post. The folly of hatred, the necessity of loving even the unlovely were stressed by Rev. Bruce Pierce during his message. Flowers in the sanc- tuary were from the funeral service of Mrs. Myrtle Baker. Bluewater Service Sunday evening Rev. Mrs. Gilchrist is granddaughter of Max Turnbull. Alwinna Galloway is a patient at Victoria Hospital. With Mr. & Mrs. Emmery Fahrner over the weekend were Mrs. Robert Palmer, Ottawa, and Calvin Fahrner, Mississauga. Mr, & Mrs. Robert Greenwood and family, Don Mills, visited Saturday with Mr. & Mrs. Will Oestricher, Robert Jackson and his sister Sheila and her husband, Maid- stone, spent the weekend in Crediton. With Mrs. Jackson also were Joe Jackson and his wife, St, Thomas. Mr. & Mrs. Sam King spent the weekend with Mrs. Marlene Mahoney and Kerry Lynne, Cambridge. Home from honeymoon By MRS. RENA CALDWELL KIPPEN Mr. & Mrs. Les Coleman have returned from their honeymoon and have settled in their new home. Harold Parker, Allin Tremeer, Alex McBeath, Wm. J.F. Bell who have been hunting near Restoule Ontario, have returned home. Mabel Whiteman's house in Kippen has been sold. Mr. & Mrs. Alex McGregor attended Rex. Humbard's ser- vices in ,Akron, Ohio.
