they were on a hunting trip.
Miss Barbara Miller,
University of Guelph spent the
weekend at her home here.
Mrs. Glenn Rohde entertained
a number of friends Saturday
afternoon to a birthday party for
Danny's sixth birthday.

The fall Thankoffering meeting
of Caven Church Women was
held Monday night with Mrs.
Harry Strang presiding. Mrs.
Jack Pryde took the devotional

in the past with the missionary
work in our present changing
-world. How we have found by
past experiences our western
ways were not always relevant to
the need in the undeveloped
countries.

bus trip to Toronto to see "The
Living Christmas Tree" at the
Peoples Church.
The ladies decided this year to
postpone the delivery of the boxes
for the shut-ins until Easter.

piano read two poems written by
Gwen Whilsmith and published in
the Glad Tidings.
Mrs. J. Strang showed slides of
Scotland closing with slides from
St. Pauls "Jesus the Light of The
World". Lunch was served by
Mrs. Stanlake, Mrs. Kirk and
Mrs. Mercer.
