T-A photo Acts of vandalism continue, damage wagon, combine, car Van hits station Fog causes two accidents Acts of wilful damage again lead the list of occurrences in- vestigated this week by officers of the Lucan detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police. Community services officer Constable G. J. Barker reports damages of $705 in nine of "these senseless acts". A sign valued at $20 was knocked down at the Ontario Pork Producers building at High- way 7 and county road 22. Friday, November 11. All members of the Branch are requested to muster at the Legion Hall at 10:30 a.m. We will then proceed to the Village of Granton for our Act of Remembrance at the cenotaph on the 11th hour. Friday, November 11th, 1977. Our Remembrance Day Banquet will be served in the lucan Legion at 6:30 p.m. The Ladies of Clandeboye are catering. The guest speaker is Comrade Leighton Howard, Provincial Vice-Chairman. The banquet is open to the purplic. Please obtain your banquet ticket as soon as possible to enable us to advise the caterers how many to prepare for. Following the banquet there will be live entertainment provided. Sunday, November 13, 1977. Our annual Remembrance Church Parade. This year to be held at St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church. All members are requested to muster at the Legion Hall at 10:30 a.m. at which time we will proceed to the church, form up in front and parade in. Following the morning service we return to the Legion Hall for our Act of Remembrance. A hind quarter of beef was won by Mary Van Geel, RR 3 Lucan, and Doreen Eedy, RR4, Denfield will receive a front quarter of beef. Mary Mills will be in attendance to assist us. At 6.30 p.m. the Clandeboye ladies will cater to our Remembrance banquet. The public are cordially invited to attend. Following the banquet we will be holding a sing song with Jean Hare on the hanky' tank piano. Air Conditioning e Humidifiers 1 • • Ventilation Fog was responsible for two of the eight accidents investigated this week by officers of the Ontario Provincial Police detachment at Lucan. The two fog related mishaps occurred Thursday morning. The first at 5.20 a.m. on Highway 4, north of Birr involved a tractor trailer driven by William Haynes, RR 1, St. Marys and a car driven by Thomas Fenwick, RR 3, Lucan, Constable Jim Craig set damages at $650. Fenwick received minor injuries. At 8.55 a.m. on Highway 4, near Concession 15 in London town- ship, a vehicle driven by Vivian Laplante, Granton stopping for a school bus was struck by a vehicle driven by Perry Knee, Centralia. Constable Craig listed damages at $1,700. Tuesday at 1.30 a.m. on the BP service station lot at Elginfield a van driven by James Donkin, Owen Sound collided with the corner of the building. Constable N. A. Campbell estimated damage to the building at $800 and $50 to the van, Friday, a vehicle driven by Robert Graham, Lucan left the Brinsley road, 3.2 kilometers west of Highway 4 and rolled over. Graham was taken to St. Joseph's Hospital, London by Lucan Ambulance. Constable D. R. Vance listed damages at $500. Constable W. T.
