Rev. Victor Baker who is
associated with the Ray of Hope
Mission and Hope Manor near
Kitchener conducted the service
in the United Church Sunday
morning.
Hope Manor was established to
provide a home for young men
during their probation period.
The home accommodates 20
young men between the ages of 16
and 20 and has the distinction of
having a Scriptural influence on
the lives of delinquent boys and
gives them the opportunity of
realizing there is a better way of
life.
Courses are carried out, a
wood-Working program, spray-
painting and cooking. There is
also an educational upgrading
program. When the courses are
completed the young men are
assisted in obtaining a job and in
obtaining suitable living ac-
commodation. Love is the key to
reaching these young men said
the speaker and he • quoted
passages of Scripture to illustrate
his point.
Rev. Harold Snell of Exeter
will be in, charge of the service
