Additional telephone equipment has been installed by Hay Municipal Telephones. "A large number of people are involved in working out all the details," said James Murphy, Playhouse Manager. Four volunteer students from South Huron District High School will assist in loading and unloading the three tractor trailer trucks of special equipment. The Playhouse is presenting a brief show, "Playhouse Per- sonalities", before the telecast. Alicia Jeffery, Peter Purvis, James Saar, Teresa Castonguay, Joan Ilanna and the Dance Plus Four Company are among the performers, Fred Davis is host of the Provincial Draw, which will be telecast live at 8:30. Spectators will have to be in their seats by 7:30, Admission tickets are now on sale at $3.00 for adults and $2.00 for students (high school age and under). There are no reserved seats and latecomers will not be admitted. Tickets are available at the Playhouse and also at the Bank of Montreal branches in Grand Bend, Zurich and Hensall, and in Exeter at the Times-Advocate. For additional information, phone 238-8387, This weekend will be one of the most important of the season for members of the Grand Bend United pee wee soccer club. They will be in Sarnia Saturday to meet the Sarnia Nationals in the 1977 Southwestern Ontario Cup final. Six members of the Grand Bend club will be part of the Huron County all-star team when they meet Greater Niagara in the fifth round of the 1977 Ohio International Cup at Niagara Falls. Dave Silcock, an Exeter resi- dent is the coach of the Grand Bend and Huron County teams. Joan Eagleson conducted the worship service, held in the form of a skit titled "Partners in the Church." The plot envolved around a minister moving away, and the Church would be without a minister for six months. One collision 4nvestigated One accident was investigated by the Pinery OPP this week, it occurring on Tuesday. Drivers involved were Bradley B. Boyd, Forest, and John L. Russell, Port Franks. They collided on Highway 21 just north of the Pinery Park entrance. Constable G. W. Clark set total damage at $1,000. During the week, the Pinery officers laid three charges under the Liquor Licence Act-and one under the Narcotic Control Act. Five thefts were investigated. Celebration service number two of Grand Bend United Church's 50th Anniversary year, was held Sunday, when guest minister was Rev. Harold Dobson, of Dungannon. The Choir rendered two special anthems under the new leadership of Mrs. Dawn Crabe. Rev. H. Moore, conducted Anniversary service at Chiselhurst United Church, Sunday. Personals Meeting number two of the Grand Bend "Peach Fuzz" 4-H girls was held Thursday evening in the basement of the United Church. Roil Call was answered by 19, naming one fresh Ontario grown fruit you have eaten. The girls chose a cover picture for their record book. Fresh fruit cup, and Plum Peach Compote, were made, which the girls sampled and enjoyed for lunch. About 30 ladies from the Exeter Pentecostal Church met at the home of Mrs. Helen Smith, last Tuesday evening, for a miscellaneous bridal shower for Diane Holt, bride elect of early October. Melanie Smith and Karen Cudmore presented the gift to Diane for which she graciously thanked everyone. During the social time games and contests were played. Glenda and Tammy Morenz and other Free Press carriers in the area, went by charter bus, Sunday to view the football game at Hamilton, between the Tiger Cats and Montreal Alouettes, compliments of the Free Press. MURIEL BONNER Mrs. Muriel Bonner passed away September 24 at St. Joseph's hospital, London in her 60th year, She had resided for some time in Pinedale subdivision, Grand Bend, with her daughter, Mrs. Elwood Webb. She formerly lived in Peterborough and for sometime in Chateau Gardens. Survived by her mother, Mrs. Margaret Quinlan, Peterborough, four daughters, Mrs, Elwood Webb, Grand Bend, Mrs. Vaughn McMullen, Peterborough, Mrs. Lorne Burke, Kingston, Mrs. Minnie Ross, Wendover, two stepsons, Dennis McCarroll, Peterborough, Michael McCarron, Petawawa, three sisters, Miss Mabel Quinlan, Levis, Quebec, Mrs. Arthur Pearl, Peterborough, Mrs. Vincent Hutts, Tweed, one brother, William Quinlan of Kingston and predeceased by brothers Albert and David, The body rested at T.
