Mr. & Mrs. Dave McClure and
family spent a week's vacation on
in Ontario. They passed through
Muskoka and Parry Sound to
camp near Huntsville. Then they
proceeded northward to view the
Clay Belt area of New Liskeard,
making camp at Englehart.
Mr, McClure and Matthew
toured the Rexwood Plant at New
Liskeard, and the creamery
which serves the Clay Belt dairy
farms.
On the return they skirted the
west side of Lake Nipissing,
crossing the French River and
passing thr ough a region
inhabited chiefly by people
speaking French.A time of
camping at Grundy Lake
Provincial Park afforded op-
portunity to watch loons and
beaver,
Return home was by way of
Chesley where the parents of Mr.
McClure live.

her studies on travel at Niagara

marriage vows at 2 pm. in Exeter United Church. Linda is the only
daughter of Mrs. Helen Jones and the late Lloyd Jones. Bill is the only
son of Mrs. Carrie Russell and the late Homer Russell,

Sandra Dianne Munn daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Alex Munn of Hensall
and Gerard John O'Rourke, son of 'Mrs. Clare O'Rourke and the late
Dennis O'Rourke were united in marriage August 20 by Rev. R.
Charrette at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Roman Catholic Church in
Mount Carmel, which was decorated in yellow daisies. The bride was
attended by Mrs. Dianne Finkbeiner, Matron of Honour, Crediton, and
attendants Mrs. Marlene Munn, Hensall, Mary O'Rourke, Exeter. Best
Man was Joe O'Rourke, Exeter and ushers Bill Munn, Hensall and
Glenn O'Rourke, Mount Forest. The organist was Anne Muller, dnd the
soloist was Gregory Munn. The couple left for the West Coast follow-

Monday night was the first
meeting of the Kirkton No. 5, 4-H
Club. Fifteen girls met at the
home of Mrs. Ray Paynter who is
leading the Club along with Mrs.
Lorne Marshall.
The Club is called "Consider
your clothes" each girl is to make
a blouse to fit into her wardrobe.
The second meeting of Kirkton
4-H corn club was held at the,
home of Richard De Brabandere
one of the club leaders along with
Bill Arthur, There were twelve
members present. During the
evening they enjoyed a ball
game, then wieners and corn
around a camp fire.
