The last of the summer com-
munity church services was held
on Sunday at Hensall United
Church with Rev. Don Beck in
charge. His sermon was titled "A
Paradox" and dwelt on personal
belief in Christ, which calls for
decision and dedication, though it
may involve a struggle also. Mrs,
John Turkheim played at the
organ and Mrs. Eric Luther sang
"He touched me," accompanied
on the piano by her husband.
Unit 4 will be starting their fall
season of meetings on Thursday,
September 1, with a pot-luck
luncheon at noon.
Congratulations to Rene
Boogemans of Hensall and
Xavier Boogemans of Grand
Bend, who won the expert class
for canoeists at the Ontario
Summer Games at Guelph on
Sunday.
