successful one for Grand Bend's
pee-wee soccer stars.
The Bend team downed the
league leading Ontario Hurons 7-
1 at Grand Bend, to provide the
Hurons with their first defeat of
the season in South Western
Ontario league play.

hat-trick, Mike Wedlock scored
twice, and George Kerr and Bill
Mennen both added singles for
the Bend.
Nine regular members of
Grand Bend's Pee-Wees were
included in the Lambton-Huron
County All Star team that
defeated Niagara Falls 6-0 in the
consolation final of the 1977

Saturday afternoon.
Mike Wedlock and Charlie Wise
had two goals each, Andrew
Couper and Nick Vandenberk one
each, and Rick Helm gained the
shutout.
Only two hours after com-
pleting their victory over
Niagara, the Lambton-Huron
team had to face South Eastern
Michigan in the first Round of the
1977 Ohio International Cup at
Sarnia's Centennial Park.
The local All Stars showed no
signs of fatigue, and stormed on
to an easy 15-1 win. Mike Wedlock
scored six, George Kerr three,
