400 at Playhouse
for art auction
Over 400 people attended the
Benefit Art Auction held at Huron
Country Playhouse July 31.
Total sales were $15,500 for
over 130 works auctioned at the
playhouse, said Auction Con-
vener Josephine Wilcox. The
playhouse receives 20 percent of
the profit which has not yet been
calculated, said Wilcox.
Proceeds from the auction are
to be used to help the Playhouse
through the 1977 season.
