meeting in the craft room on
Monday, July 18 decided to
purchase an air mattress. This
would benefit the bed-ridden
patients by relieving pressure on
the joints. Mr.,, Archibald ex-
plained benefits of the mattress.
The meeting, chaired by the
president, Mrs. ' C. Coiclough
opened with members repeating
the Lord's Prayer. Mrs.
McNichol, thesecretary, read the
minutes and Mrs. Leola
Lockhart, treasurer, gave the
financial report. Roll-call was
answered by naming a favourite
hobby. Many favoured reading,
during the current hot weather.
Members may buy remnants,
if they appear to be bargains, and
give the bill to the treasurer. This
material will be made into items
for the fall bazaar.
The next meeting will be on
August 15 at 1.30 p.m. It would be
nice to see more ladies present.
