4-H clubs to

On February 29, 1952, 32 Club
Leaders, representing the
various boys and girls
Agricultural Clubs in Huron
County, met together at the
Agricultural Office in Clinton to
discuss all rules and regulations
pertaining to Junior Clubs in the
county. From this meeting the
Huron County 4-H Club Leaders'
Association was formed and the
p 4-H name was adopted as a prefix
to all Junior Clubs in the cpunty.
1977 marks the 25th Anniver-
sary of this event and the Huron
County 4-H Club Leaders'
Association are planning a day of
Celebration and Reunion of past
and present 4-H leaders, mem-
bers, parents, Agricultural
Representative staff and Home
Economists, Saturday, July 23,
1977 at the Blyth Arena.
The celebrations are taking the
form, of a banquet at 12.00 p.m,
and a reunion in the afternoon,
Guest Speaker for the banquet
will be R.W. (Bob) Carbert,
General Manager of the Ontario
Agricultural Museum in Milton
and former Farm Editor for
CKNX in Wingham,
Former Agricultural
Representative staff returning
for the occasion include John
