The property is owned by Peter Oud, RR 2, Hensall. Hensall firemen were able to contain the fire to the back room of the frame house. Damage from water and smoke was heavy to the remainder of the house. MacDonald dies in Brampton Wilmer Charles MacDonald passed away at Peel Memorial Hospital Brampton June 25 after a lengthy illness, in his 55th year. Surviving is his wife, the former Marjorie Cudmore, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Edgar Cudmore, lien.sall. One son Jack and one daughter Ruth Ann, Brampton. Also surviving is his mother Mrs. Roy MacDonald, Exeter. His father Roy MacDonald predeceased him one month ago. Two sisters Dorothy (Mrs. Ted Prouty) and Jean (Mrs. Stewart Triebner, Exeter) also survive. Funeral service was held from the Lee Archdekin Funeral Home Brampton conducted June 28 by Pastor Ron Stephens and Rev. Robert Norcross of Kennedy Rd. Pentecostal Church, Brampton. Mr. William Seers sang "Each Step I Take" and "I Am So Glad I Belong To The Family Of God". Interment in Brampton Cemetery. Taylor reunion held at Walton The Taylor reunion was held at the hcme of John and Mary Lou Driscoll, Walton, Sunday, Games and sports were enjoyed by all. Anne Preston, Sundridge was the youngest baby attending. During the supper hour Morris and Connie Taylor and four daughters were presented with a going away gift. Bill Taylor read a very humorous address to which Morris and Connie both replied with thanks. On June 30 the family moved to RR 2, Kilworthy near Gravenhurst where they purchased the "Three Coins Motel". All their family wish them the best of luck UNITED CHURCH The service at the Hensall United Church on Sunday was conducted by Rev. Don Beck with Mrs. John Turkheim at the organ, The choir, as an anthem, sang the Centennial Hymn and Rev. Beck preached on the subject, "Fear Not". Colvin, president of Fanshawe College has an- nounced the election of Bill Waters, Parkhill, as chairperson of the Fanshawe College Com- munity Services Advisory Committee. Waters is the Mayor of Parkhill and manager of Waters Elevator Ltd., Parkhill. He is past chairperson of the Parkhill Advisory Committee to Fan- shawe College and Chairperson of the Northwest Middlesex Planning Board. He replaces Mrs. Mary Ann Marshall of St. Thomas. Howard Smale is a patient in South Huron Hospital, Exeter where he is receiving treatment. William Smale underwent surgery in St. Joseph's Hospital London this week. Gordon Love is receiving treatment in South Huron Hospital, Exeter. Sim Roobol returned to his home on Thursday, after having been a patient in St. Joseph's Hospital, London, Mrs. Wilmer Ferguson who has been a patient for the past several weeks in St. Joseph's Hospital, London returned to her home last week. George Anderson con- ducted service in St. Paul's Anglican Church Sunday when members of Carmel Presbyterian Church united with them for worship, Rev. Anderson conducted Holy Communion service. Next Sunday the congregation of the Hensall United Church will also unite with the Anglican church congregation for service at 9:45 a.m. Mr. & Mrs. John Konynendyk, Woodstock and Mr. Herbert Konynendyk from Holland visited with Mr, & Mrs. Sim Roobol on Monday, Mr. & Mrs. Ken Glavin and family visited with Mr. & Mrs. Sam Oesch on Sunday. . Miss Marguerite Banbury, London and Mrs. Margaret Smith also of London visited with Mr, & Mrs. Jack Smith over the weekend.
