CHURCH NEWS
At the United Church Rev.
Grant Dawson of the Kirkton-
Woodham charge was the guest
minister Sunday morning, and
took his sermon' from John
chapter 16. "When the Spirit of
Truthcomes, He will guide you
into all Truth".'
Christianity is a process by
which we are led by God in our
relationship with ourselves and
with our neighbours, to be a
Christian is to do right, to accept
the basic truth of God's Love,
Compassion, and Justice said
Rev. Dawson.

attendance awards were the
following children: First Pin,
Steven Nixon, Second Pin,
Susanne and Leane Sleeper, and

man. In the children's story Rev.

important it is for them to grow in
heart and mind as well as
stature.

Dawson as he is leaving the
Kirkton-Woodham charge to take
up his duties in Calgary. We wish
him and his family well in their
new undertaking.
