Proposals are invited for the development of a 10 acre site, as
a planned mobile home subdivisioh to improve the availabili-
ty of suitable low cost housing. Ownership alternative in the
Town of Seaforth.
Development will be by registered plan of subdivision with
the land and dwelling sold as a unit rather than providing on
a rental or leased b6sis.
The selected developer will be responsible for planning site

Irene and. Gwen Lynn attended
the luncheon Tuesday at Sir
George Ross Secondary School,
London, held in honour of the
Volunteers for the Middlesex-
London District Health Unit.
Mrs. Art Hodgins accompanied
her brother, Howard Morley and
Mrs. Morley of Hazel Park,
Michigan, to London, Saturday
afternoon where they visited
Mrs. Edgar Squire at "Brent-
wood" Nursing Home, also Mrs.
Will Hodgson, Miss Lina Abbott
and Mrs. Coleman at the
McCormick Home.
Mrs. Ralph Lynn received the
sad news last week that her
nephew, David Sawyer, son of
Mary (Tomes) and Lynn Sawyer
of Petrolia was missing and
presumed drowned after a
boating accident near North Bay.
The community was sorry to
hear of the death of Andy Carter,
Wednesday, May 18, 1977.
Andy spent all his life in the
Clandeboye area until he retired
from farming and moved to
Exeter in April, 1967. He was in
his 75th year. He is survived by
his wife, Mary A (Raycraft)
Carter, Predeceased by two
brothers, Kenneth and Amber,
He was a member of St. James
Church, later of Trivitt Memorial
Church, Exeter, a member of the
St. James Cemetery Board as
well as Caretaker of the
Cemetery for many years. He
was a member of Irving Lodge
No. 154 Lucan.
A Masonic service was held at
the funeral home on Thursday
evening at 7.30 p.m. The funeral
took place from St. James
Anglican ChurCh, Clandeboye, on
Friday at 2 p.m. with the Rev.
George Anderson, D.F.C. of
Trivitt Memorial Church,
Exeter, officiating. Interment in
St. James Cemetery, . Clan-
deboye.
Pallbearers were Elmer
Greenlee, Ted Chaffe, George
Mercer, George Simpson, Peter
Groenewegen and John Simpson.

Collar, missionary to Arabs living
in Jerusalem will be the speaker
at the Christian Women luncheon
Friday at 11 a.m. at the Trivitt
Anglican Parish hall. Miss Collar
has spent 15 years in the Mid-East
and is well versed in the problems
existing there, All ladies are
welcome to attend the pot luck
luncheon to meet and hear Miss
Collar who will be returning to
Jerusalem in July after visiting
relatives in the Wingham and St.
Thomas areas.

The Commission on Freedom of Information and Indi-
vidual Privacy by authority vested in it by the Govern-.
ment of Ontario will undertake an enquiry to examine:
Public information practices of other jurisdictions
in order to consider possible changes which are
compatible with the/parliamentary traditions of
the Government of Ontario and complementary
to the mechanisms that presently exist for the
protection of the rights of individuals;
The individuats ,right of access and appeal in
relation to the use of Government information;
The categories of Government information which
should be treated as confidential in order to
protect the public interest;
The effectiveness of present procedures for the
dissemination of Government information to the
public;
The protection of individual privacy and the right
of recourse in regard to the use of Government
records.
One aspect of the Study will include the acceptance
of written Briefs and the Receipt of Submissions as well
as a series of public meetings throughout the Province.
Persons or groups wishing to make representations to
the Commission on any aspect of the Study are re-
quested to write to the Counsel, Cam mission'of Freedom
