MOTHERGETiGIFT"
Readers may recall a story
which appeared in this
newspaper a couple of weeks ago
about a Mother's Day gift that
had been found after it was left
on a car bumper at a local
restaurant.
A couple of local youngsters
had apparently left the gift on
the car while they were playing
and forgot to retrieve it before
the driver left the restaurant
parking lot.
The gift was finally found by
the driver after he had made his
way to his Staffa home,
Well, that gift finally made it
back into the hands of its owner
and then on to the mother for
whom it had been intended,
This week the T-A received a
letter from a "grateful citizen"
as follows:
"Thank you for my present
that I bought for my mother. I
was very sad but when I read the
artical (sic) in the newspaper
that the man in the car returned
it, I was instantly happy. Thank
you."
