IRVIN RADER DASHWOOD Forty Senior Citizens and guests were present for the May meeting in the Community Centre, During the business session a list of projects for New Horizon grants was presented and approved. The group will entertain the Huronview residents in Senior Citizens week June 19-25. The June meeting will be in the form of a picnic in the pavilion, Harry Hoffman led a sing song. New officers for the coming year were elected as follows: president, J, M. Tieman; vice- president, Charles Martene; secretary-treasurer, Hilda Rader; assistant, Florence Martene; executive, Ross Love, Jos. Dietrich, Harold Carroll, Luella Tiernan, Martha Weigand and Letta Taylor, Paul Turnbull then showed slides and gave a very interesting account of four months he and his family spent in Guatemala following the severe earthquake in that area. While there he was engaged in building homes and churches. Group 3 and Martha Weigand convener served lunch. District Annual Mrs. Ray Rader, Mrs. Eben Weigand, Mrs. Gordon Bender, Mrs. Syd Baker, Mrs. Earl Keller and Mrs. Irvin Rader attended the District Annual for Huron South Women's Institutes at Grand Bend United Church, Thursday. Nadiger and Helen last Sunday. Mrs. Seigfried Miller, Port Dover, spent a day with Mrs. Martha Miller last week. Mrs. Wilbur Stewart, London,' spent a few days with NW: & Mrs, Jack Gaiser, Kirn and Lyn, Mr. & Mrs. Percy Willert, Zurich, were Sunday visitors with Mr, & Mrs. Lloyd Rader, Mrs. Harold Maine, Kitchener, spent the weekend with her parents,. Mr. & Mrs. Reinhold Miller. Rev. Bruce Guy and delegates, Don Gaiser from Calvary United Church and Mrs, Eileen Consitt from Emmanuel United Church, Zurich, attended the United Church Conference at Can- terbury Inn, Sarnia, last week. Others attending the Ordination service at Central United Church, Sarnia, Thursday evening were Mr. & Mrs. Hugh Boyle, Mr. & Mrs. Mervyn Tiernan, Mrs, Don Gaiser and Mrs. Bruce Guy. John James, who was ordained expects to be stationed in New Brunswick. Mr. & Mrs. Paul Morrison and Jennifer, Clinton, were Sunday guests with Rev. & Mrs. Bruce Guy. Mr. & Mrs. Dave Rader and Stacey spent the weekend at Manitoulin Island with Irwin Eagleson, Mr. & Mrs. Wayne Stickney, Patti-Lynn and Robert and granddaughter Laura-Louise Wheatley were Sunday visitors at Earl Guenther residence. Mr, & Mrs. Earl Guenther spent Monday in Drayton and Listowel visiting relatives. Re K.
