in area fastball league
I
Thursday night Poplar Hill
Saints travelled to Exeter and
suffered their second straight
defeat at the hands of the Royals

leagup.
Exeter jumped to the attack in
the very first inning as Pete
Glover singled and came around
to score on Doug Pearsons long
fly ball which went for a home
run,
The Royals added two more
runs in the bottom of the third as
Pete Glover again started it with
a single. He came in to score as
his brother Jack Glover hit a long
blast for a home run.
The score remained, 4-0 until
the top of tile seventh when
Royals starter Cliff Gingerich

Did you know you have an
"anti-stall dashpot" in your
car? It's a device that keeps
the engine from stalling by
preventing the throttle from
closing too rapidly.
Your car's drive-belt should be
checked for slipping and
wear; double-check its tension
(important to the alternator
operiation).

Not so's you'd notice, but the
average two-ton car contains
31 pounds of zinc.
