We've been anxiously awaiting a settlement from The Motor Vehicles Accident Claims Fund since last June and we badly need this money so if you can help to speed it up we will be most grateful. Part of the delay has been due to the fact that the application to The Motor Vehicles Accident Claims Fund was not complete, but since that missing informa- tion concerning the uninsured driver has now been receiv- ed, an early settlement cheque should be issued in the very near future. Six months ago I got myself involved with a Beauty Club in Toronto and since that time have been sent bills, bills and more bills for a kit that I don't even have! When it arrived originally it was broken so I promptly returned it, expecting another one in its place, but no such luck, only these bills! Finally I got one of those "pay or else" letters from their collection agency. To say that I'm completely fed up, is to put it mildly, so any help that you can offer will be ap- preciated. The eXplanation that we finally got from this firm puts the blame on their com- puter. They send this reader their, "most sineete apologies", and told us to in- form her, "that this account is now closed, and that a re- fund cheque in full will be sent right away." • C-B's • STEREOS • TOWERS • AERIALS • TROPHIES CORD'S TROPHIES & ENGRAVING 4 Jack & Marg's Expert Car Repairs C-8 Sales & Service 235-2444 HIGHWAYS 83 & 4 ' EXETER EST. 1919 T. Gleeson, Dean of the Huron-Perth Deanery wrote a letter to the board saying the priests of the deanery feel that it would be better if the spring break in the separate schools did not coincide with Holy Week (as it will in 1978) as they feel that the families could more easily participate in Holy Week Liturgies in their respective parishes. However, in expressing the above opinion the priests said they feel that the following points should be con- sidered—that with the public schools of Huron and Perth coun- ties, including the high schools which have catholic students, holding the spring break on different dates, it would cause some difficulties, especially for children in the same family, hav- ing two different weeks for spr- ing breaks. Father Gleeson noted too that with integrated bus service with the public system it would cost the separate board $4,730 for transportation during Holy Week, if the dates were changed. Superintendent Joseph Mills noted that the conflict between the Spring Break and Holy Week would not conflict again 'until after 1982, The Pride of Huron Rebekah Lodge met' at Exeter United Church, Wednesday, April 20 and enjoyed a banquet in honour of D.D.P.
