The donation was prompted as Grand Bend firefighters had battled a blaze for three hours in the boiler room at sell Aerospace on Friday, April 8. James G. Mills, managing director of the company, ap- preciated the efforts made by the firemen in saving the company from a serious loss. Fire Chief H. Mr. & Mrs. Mel Douglas, ac- companied by their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. & Mrs. Dave Mclndoe, have returned home from a holiday in Florida. Mr. & Mrs. Ed Gill and Mrs. Raymond Kading were supper guests, Friday night, at the Gill's daughter and family Mr. & Mrs. Jim Reith and boys at Ilderton. Week-end guests with Mrs. Edna Woodburn, were her cousins, Mr. & Mrs. Bill Coleman, Burlington. Sunday visitors with Mrs. Susie Devine were Mr. & Mrs. Bill Vandeworp, Elise, Michelle, Billy and Bobby, Dashwood. Mrs. Mary Broadfoot, Kippen was a dinner guest Sunday with Mr. & Mrs. Clarke Kennedy. Mr. & Mrs. Roy Flear visited Sunday in London, with Mr. & Mrs. Ken Flear and Mark. Couple observe 71 years wed . Mr. & Mrs. Art Baker observed their 71st Wedding Anniversary Monday, April 25. Both enjoy fairly good health. Mrs. Baker resides at the Bluewater Rest Home at Zurich and Mr. Baker lives at his home in Green Acres, Grand Bend with his daughter, Mrs. Lillian Brown and grandaughter, Alice Brown. Mr. & Mrs. Earl Baker, St. Thomas, visited a day last week, with their great uncle, Mr. Baker.
