By MANUEL CURTS
Palm Sunday comes to us as a
serious reminder that the
lowliness and meekness Of our
Lord is in reality, unshakeable
strength. It helps us to get the
right perspective on power. God's
side is indeed the winning side.
Even though Christians are
known as the meek and are
misunderstood, they are the ones
who shall inherit the earth
even as Jesus said.
Personals
Mrs. Ken Smithers and Evelyn
Curts attended a miscellaneous
shower for their niece, Marilyn
Scafe, bride-elect of this month at
the home of Mr. & Mrs. Ted
Scafe, London, on. Sunday.
Mrs. Ethel Bullock is visitng
with her daughter and son-in-law,
Mr. & Mrs. Pete Pawliw in
Milton.
By the way: Overheard in
church last Sunday ". ., and
dear God, take away the flies, but
I thank thee they aren't
mosquitoes."
A nickel isn't as good as a
dollar, but it goes to church more
often.
