Master Brent Marshall and
Lana Marshall returned home

Tuesday evening the ladies
attending the Women's Institute
quilting course met at the hall.
Everyone put their block in their
quilting frames and will quilt it
during the week.
Wednesday afternoon about a
dozen ladies of the Institute at-
tended a dessert meeting of the
Hurondale Women's Institute at
Usborne Central School,
The president Mrs. Marian
Dougall welcomed everyone and
then everyone enjoyed dessert,
The "Alethia Group" en-
tertained, followed by an in-
teresting talk on ceramics by
Mrs. Joyce Morgan.
Wednesday evening Elimville
United Church Women met for
their Easter meeting. Miss Ruth
Skinner was in charge of the
business, The roll call was a
donation toward the Easter Shut-
in boxes, It was decided to buy
two Easter lillies for the church.
The UCW will provide a
number for the annual Alleluia
Night, April 15, Ola Batten
opened the worship part of the
meeting. Mrs. Shirley Cooper and
Mrs. Batten read the Easter
scripture. Mrs. Elva Routly gave
a very interesting Bible Study.
CGIT Bowl
The Thames-Road-Elimville
C.G.I.T. had a bowling party on
March 26 at the Exeter Bowling
Lanes. The girls bowled two
games, Pam Coward was high,
Shirlee Ballantyne was second
high; and Kathy Cooper had the
most strikes. Following bowling
the girls went to the Burkley for

C.G.I.T. held their April meeting
at the Elinville United Church on
March 27, For discussion they
discussed what the woman's role
is today in church and whether

The 2nd meeting of Elimville II
4-H club was held at Miss Joan
Kerslakes, March 23, The roll call
was answered by all those
present. The next meeting will be
held on March 30 at 7:30 at Mrs.
Joyce Fultons, All books are to be
handed in on May 13.
The leaders demonstrated how
to lay out a pattern, what the
selvage was and what a
crossway. fold is, For discussion
they discussed getting the pat-,
tern ready and how to alter it if
necessary.
