The name of the club is "Lovely
Lounger" and the color for the
cover is Baby Blue. Lori Lynn
Stewart is the cover designer.
Mrs. Pym discussed record
book technique, choosing clothes
for leisure, fabrics for sleep wear
and trims.
Mrs. Ballantyne discussed
sewing, getting material ready to
cut and other thingsthat the girls
would be learning.
United Church Women
The March meeting of the
United Church Women was held
Monday evening with 23 ladies
pfesent Mrs. Arnold Cann was in
charge of the meeting of which
the Theme was "Soils of Life."
Mrs. Cann gave the Call to
Worship and the hymn "Lord
Speak to Me", followed by the
Scripture Lesson which was read
by Mrs. William Rowcliffe. Mrs.
Cann gave the message on the
Theme "Soils of Life", followed
by prayer.
Mrs. David Passmore gave a
reading "What Is Spring", Mrs.
Rowcliffe received the offering
and Mrs. Cann gave the prayer.
Mrs. Cann showed a film,
"Footnotes To Genesis" with the
new projector,
Mrs. Glen Stewart conducted
the business, minutes, roll call,
correspondence, treasurer's
report and card report were
received.
The ladies sang "0 Worship the
King" and all repeated the
Mizaph Benediction. Lunch was
served by Group C and the hostess
