The South Huron wrestlers downed Goderich 54-30 to take the title, Coach Doug Ellison com- mented on the win, "The results were gratifying considering that Mike Westelaken and Cliff Hicks were out with knee injuries and a shoulder injury kept Randy Fisher out of the competition." Winning matches for South Huron against Goderich were Phil De Haan, Vince Winters, Richard Rooseboom, Brian Westelaken, Brian Pym, Brian Mayer, Bill Duttman, Ron Miller, Ron Bilcke, Rick Bilcke and Ray Gallagher. Tuesday afternoon coach Ellison released the names of the winners of two special awards and said both decisions were very difficult to make, The best wrestler title will be shared by Brian Mayer and Vince Winters.
