W. Horner and Lillian Ulens. They gave an interesting and informative skit on Stewardship, pointing out where our dollar could be best used in various charitable organizations, The president, Mrs. Jacob Lagerwerf conducted the business and reminded her listeners of their responsibility in giving gifts to Thameswood Lodge next month. Mrs. Harley Moore gave a report on the Huron Perth presbyterial meeting, Particularly interesting was the discussion on the physically handicapped, and the universal code system clarifying many points about the new parcel checkout. system. Plans were completed for the variety supper to be held on February 25. Lunch was provided by Mrs. Stuart Bullock and Mrs. Cecil Smithers and the hostess, and a social half hour enjoyed. Personals Dawson Woodburn has returned home following a musical engagement in Halifax. ' Heather Bullock, younger daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Stuart Bullock entertained some of her little friends at a birthday party recently. Viola Curts, London, spent the weekend at the home of Manuel and Evelyn Curts. Several Greenway folk were on hand to welcome Norman Wilson last Monday afternoon when the large bulldozer he was operating, got a trail through the snow- clogged road south of here. Mr. & Mrs. James Eagleson entertained some family members recently at a birthday celebration, honoring Mrs. Rose Isaac, Albert Romphf, who has been visiting his daughter and son-in- law, Mr. & Mrs. Mervil Johnston, Stratford, since Christmas, has returned to the home of Mr. & Mrs. Fred Bullock and family. Mr. & Mrs. Ken Larmer, Tara and Brent entertained Mr. & Mrs. Carman Woodburn, Lisle and Dawson Woodburn Saturday evening. The occasion Carman's birthday, Nile Foster, Ailsa Craig, visited Sunday with Lloyd and Earl Foster. Dixie Lee's Fried Chicken and Seafood Take-out in Exeter has won the Company's Franchise Director's Award for the highest quality of service, cleanliness and product and also the Dixie Lee Company Trophy for food Merit. In Winning these awards, Mrs, Margaret Barclay and her staff had to beat out 31 other Dixie Lee Take-Outs throughout Ontario, Terry Kelsey, Franchise Director from the head office in Belleville, presented the trophies to Peg Barclay ang her staff in the store, Tuesday. Mr. Kelsey said that Peg and her staff are well recognized by head office for the fine product they have been serving the peo- ple of Exeter since August of1976. Although the store has only been open for six months, much has been accomplished by a hard-working staff under the direction of Peg Barclay, in order for them to win both of these awards in such a short period of time. In addition to the trophies, which will be on display in the store for the next four months, Peg and her staff will each receive a certificate attesting to their accomplishment, and a special framed certificate will be on permanent display in the store.
