In Shamrock league play this
week, the Exeter I bantams
defeated the II club by a score of
6-2. In exhibition play, Sunday,
the bantam I club suffered a 7-4
defeat in Goderich.
The score was 1-1 at the end of
the first period in Friday's
contest between the two Exeter
clubs.
Jeff Fuller counted for the I
team on a pass from Mark
Parsons and Greg Prout hit for
the II team on an unassisted
effort,
Captain Doug Brooks counted
twice in the middle frame for the
winners, Dave Jackson picked up
two assists and David L. Bell
helped on one scoring play. Mark
Parsons also counted from John
Stephens.
In the third period, Dave
Jackson provided passes for
goals by David L. Bell and Steve
Pearce for the I team and Greg
Prout completed the scoring for
the II team as he converted a
pass from Don Beaver.

The Exeter atom II squad
suffered another loss, Sunday,
but again they showed signs of
strengthened performances over
the start of the year.
The locals were beaten 4-0 by
Belmont in this week's contest,
an improvement over their
earlier 7-1 loss to the same club.
The second atom squad haven't
won a league contest on the ice =
yet, but they are claiming vic-
tories over Exeter's atom I team.
A scheduled game earlier this =
month was forfeited by the first
team when they failed to show up
and they have indicated they will =
not be playing a game scheduled
for this Friday night at Huron
Park.
