Young Peoples met Sunday

Church, For business they
discussed a bowling party which
is to be January 21 and followed
by lunch at Thames Road United
Church.
A Valentine's dance is to be
held February 11 at Thames
Road. Members discussed the
different prejudices found among
one another.

CENTRALIA
There were 13 tables in play at
the Euchre party in the Com-
munity Centre, Monday night
with Mr. & Mrs. Chas Rollings
and Mr. & Mrs. Joe Carter in
charge.
Prize winners were: ladies
high score, Mrs. Bob Blair; lone
hands, Mrs. Earl Lewis; low,
Mrs. Wilbur Lewis, Men's high,
Ralph Lightfoot; lone hands,
Laverne Skinner; low, Jack
Essery. The two special prizes
were won by Mrs. Bill Harvey
and Bob Blair.
Mr. & Mrs. Wm. Lamport and
Mr. & Mrs, Roy Swartz will be in
charge of the next party.

One of the highlights of the past
week was Wednesday evening
when Rev, and Mrs, John Beaton

broom ball and a skating party
and served refreshments at the
arena at Huron Park. Everyone
reports an enjoyable evening.
Senior citizens met in the
Community Centre, Monday for
the first meeting of the New
Year. The afternoon was spent in
cards and crokinole followed by
