HAROLD DAVIS KIRKTON Regular UCW meeting was held in the United Church last Wednesday evening. President Mrs. Al Eveleigh welcomed everyone. The worship service was in charge of Mrs. Fred Bertrand with Mrs. Rea Stephen reading the scripture lesson & prayer. Mrs. James Robinson read the meditation,"Discouraging New Lands". Mrs. Bertrand closed the worship service with a poem, President Mrs. Al Eveleigh took charge of the business. Roil call and minutes were read. Bale to be packed no later than this week. June meeting is to be held by visiting Braemar Manor Nursing home at 2 o'clock. Please note change of time. Mr. & Mrs. Ewart Crago were in Owen Sound on Saturday at- tending the marriage of their niece Miss Anne Stewart to Lt. Scot Mathewson. The young couple will be making their home in Huron Park where the bride is Junior Probation Officer for Huron County and the groom will be continuing his studies at Fanshawe College. Mothers and friends of the 4-H girls attended the Perth County 4- H Achievement Day Saturday May 15 at the K-W Community Centre.
