Kim Pridham is shown experimenting with an old set of scales. photo by Y. Romaniuk Unit 2 of Hensall United Church Women did not hold their usual monthly meeting during April but instead met for a "fun evening" 'last Saturday night when nine members and friends went bowling. Champions they were not unless you count the record breaking low score of 42 someone finished with. Then there was the player who had recently suffered a broken wrist — she found she could bowl best by doing the thing back- wards - with both hands! Some even forgot at times that the ball was supposed to stay in the alley. On the other hand, such screams of triumph were never heard before, when some scored a spare or even the greatest, a strike!! Fun evening it certainly was. Oh, well! who knows, they may produce a champion yet. "If at first you don't succeed . .
