Sunday Morning Worship
at 1105
The Easter service brought
many members to fill the Church
on Sunday ,morning when Rev.
Ewart Madden spoke on the topic
"lie is Risen"! using the story of
the "Walk to Emmaus", He said
there was a feeling of defeat
falling over the lives of the
followers of Jesus because of His
death on the cross. The two
Emmaus citizens were not in
tune at the time Jesus walked
with them but as soon as He
broke bread, they recognized
him, and were filled with joy.
Jesus does not force Himself into
our lives. He must be invited to
come and He will so fill us with
His Holy Spirit that we can reach
out to those who are hungering
for this same Holy Spirit.
Next Sunday Mr. Herman
DeSouza and Team from the
UWO Cross Cultural Learning
Centre will present a view of
'"I'he Third World."to the Sunday
School at 10 and at the Worship
Service at 11:15. Mother's Day or
