Senior Citizens' hail gets a facelift
The Senior Citizens of Hensall
met at the 100F Hall last
Wednesday evening for their
organizational meeting and to
play euchre. Seven tables played.
Winners were:- ladies high, Mrs,
Jo Carter, Exeter; ladies low,
Mrs, Grace Peck; men's high,
Mr. Clarence Volland; men's
low, Mr. Carl Payne; lenehands,
Mrs. Pearl Taylor.
Perce Campbell chaired the
business meeting and reported

A delicious lunch was served by
the owners of the lanes.
The next "get together" will be
April 28 in the school-room of
Carmel Presbyterian Church for
a "Fun Night" with the Moirs,

another successful year for girls
and boys figure and power
skating. This is a non sponsored
club by Miss Pauline Bell, Those

The United Church Service was
conducted by Rev. Don Beck with
Mrs. John Turkheim at the
organ, The,choir sang Psalm 150
to Henry Purcell's Trumpet Tune
and the series of Lent Sermons on
"What is a Virtue?" (4) Courage
was continued, based on the
quotation, "Courage is fear that
has said its prayer." Courage is
based on trust and faith.
