They held their UCW meeting in the afternoon with the president Mrs. Doronthy Parker opening the meeting with a poem. The Roll Call was answered by the members reading the Beatitudes, A "Thank-You" note was read Show movie in Seaforth Rev, W. D. Jarvis conducted service in Carmel Presbyterian on Sunday, the sermon subject was "A Faith that would not be denied". The World's Day of Prayer service will be held in St. Paul's Anglican Church, Hensall on March 5 at 2:30 p.m. The ladies of the church will entertain at the Queensway Nursing Home for the month of March. Mrs. Marg Cole and Mrs.. Mary Brintnell volunteered to visit until the next meeting. Mrs. Vera Ross played a medley of tunes on the piano. Mrs. Mary Brintnell was in charge of the worship "The Gracious Invitation Come and Dine" with all members seated around a table. Four speakers took part namely: Mrs. Rosa Harris, Mrs. Phyllis Parsons, Mrs. Marg. Upshall, and Mrs. Marg Cole. The ladies remained and Mrs. Dorothy Brintnell led in a Bible Study on John, Chapter Jim and Marg Hubert and sons of St. Catharines and Ber- nice Ford Exeter visited Mrs. Mae Ford. Hold euchre The February meeting of the Hensall Women's Institute was held in the form of a Valentine Euchre with 10 tables playing. Vice president Joyce Pepper welcomed everybody and gave out the rules. Winners were : Ladies high, Nellie Riley; ladies low, Mrs, Albert Alexander; men's high, Jim McAllister; men's low, Al Hoggarth; lone hands, Sylvia Merner; door prizes, canned ham, Sylvia Merner; apples, Joyce Pepper.
