The Parkhill Atom,Yee Wee,
and Bantam A teams fared very
well in Harrow recently.
The Council held their regular
meeting in the council chambers
last Monday night. One of the
things discussed in detail was the
motion from Councillor Mrs.
Marsha Allen about cleaning the
sidewalk better so town children
wouldn't have to resort to the
highway for walking to and from
school.
February 15 is Heart Sunday,
and the Legionaires will be
canvassing our town for
donations.
The Emerald Lodge held a
euchre party recently with the
winners: ladies high, Mrs. Ellen
Smithers ; low, Mrs. Ruth Guest,
men's high, Jack Rosser; low,
Lena Stoner, (playing as man);
lone hands, Marion Levine,
Birthday prize, Cecil Stoner;
lucky cup, Marjorie White.
Due to the bad weather there
was a drop in attendance at the
Fanshawe classes held Wed-
nesday's.
The Silver blades
skaters Club took their
Strathroy last week.

Lutheran church was cancelled
due to the storm but the United
church held their service with a
small attendance.
Mr. & Mrs. Don Rader and
family spent 11 days in Florida
where the weather was 80
degrees on their arrival. It cooled
down some but was warming up
when they left but Mrs. Rader
said it was nice to be home. They
visited Disneyworld and Don's
dad, Alvin Rader of Exeter) at
Sarasota.

home after spending a month at
Kitchener with Rev. & Mrs.
Bruce Seebach and family.
