meeting of the year last week,
they were informed the
estimated expenditures to the
end of 1976 will leave them with a
slight surplus of funds. However,

This decision was reached after
discussion of a letter received
from Don Southcott of Southcott
Pines. In the letter Mr. Southcott
requested copies of all council
minutes from September 1 to the
end of the year and all
correspondence pertaining to any
potential conflict of interest
raised by.Southcott Pines,
About two months ago Mr,
Southcott advised council he
refused to discuss the new zoning
by-law with council as long as
Bob Sharen was reeve as Mr.
Southcott felt Mr, Sharen had a
conflict of interest in the zoning
as he is in the real estate
business.
Council advised the clerk to
inform Mr. Southcott of their
decision adding he was welcome
to go through all minutes and
correspondence and photocopy
whatever he wishes, at the
clerk's convenience.
As a Christmas present to
themselves, council decided
before adjourning to authorize
the purchase of two more com-
fortable councillor's chairs,
