Allan told the members that enrolment in night school programs had dropped across the County by approximately 100 students. His report noted that this was the first drop in a number of years and suggested "it may be attributable to the increased fees or the sharp reduction in the amount of newspaper advertising brought about 'by educational of the definition of "continuing education." In view of this, the minister said, we will in 1977 review our policies and procedures regar- ding the funding of continuing education. Proposals will be circulated to invite comment from school boards and from the community. The Superintendent of Education's report also presented some of The night school statistics for 1976. There are 333 persons enrolled in 22 courses at Central Huron Secondary School, 403 in 23 programs at the Goderich and District Collegiate, 215 in 15 courses at F.E.
