CROMARTY
Mrs. John Templeman became
the new president of the Marian
Ritchie Evening Auxiliary when
they met at the home of Mrs. J.
Carey on Tuesday evening. Mrs.
Carey opened the meeting with a
Christmas reading and Mrs, Ivan
Norris accompanied the hymns,
Holy Night, Peaceful Night, and
0 Little Town of Bethlehem,
Mrs. Norris read the Christmas
story from Luke 2 followed by
prayer. Mrs. Lloyd Miller gave a
reading, No Cards this Christmas
by Elaine Townshend.
During the business, the group
decided to donate fifteen dollars
from the birthday box for the
Yokohama Nursery School
Project, Betty Lou Norris en-
tertained with a piano solo, The
Entertainer. •
Auxiliary
to aid shop
The Women's Auxiliary of
South Huron Hospital will be
joining with the Exeter Heritage
Foundation to start a new
project.
Auxiliary members meeting
Tuesday afternoon agreed to
participate in establishment of a
"nearly new shop" in the old fire
hall portion in the south side of
the old town hall.
It is expected a start in this
venture can be made early in 1977
when the new heating system has
been installed.
Newly elected president, Mrs.
Roy Westcott, was in charge of
the business meeting with a large
number of ladies in attendance.
Attractive new drapes have been
added to the Auxiliary room since
the last meeting.
Hospital administrator Elmer
Taylor was in charge of an en-
tertainment program which
included a puppet show presented
by Cheryl Smith and Richard
Kelean of No Strings Attached.
The hospital staff served lunch.
NURSING GRAD — Mrs.
Noreen McCann of Mt. Carmel
graduated recently from the On-
tario College of Nursing in Lon-
don for a registered nursing assis-
tant and passed the registration
examination.
With the assistance of a flip
chart, Mrs, Larry Gardiner
presented the concluding chapter
of the study book on the Urban-
Rural Mission of the Christian
Conference of Asia,
The Mission which was started
in 1968 has fifty projects, two of
which are the Taiwan
Ecumenical Industrial Mission,
and the Korean Christian Centre
in Osaka, Japan, Mrs, Carey read

tecostal Church was held at the

December 9.
The Pastor led in a chorus
"When I think of the Goodness of
Jesus" and opened in prayer. He
gave the message of the af-
ternoon "Our Heart Christ's
Manger" His text was taken from
Luke 2: 7-16.
