Piano selections by Mrs. Alvin Passinore were enjoyed. Mrs. Ballantyne read the Christmas Scripture Lesson, We sang "Hark The Herald Angels Sing." Mrs. Ballantyne and Mrs. Parker received the offering. Mrs, William Rowcliffe gave a humorous Christmas reading, Mrs. Fred. Johns closed the worship service with an inspiring prayer, Mrs. Glen Stewart president opened the business section with a poem "Friendship." Anniversary Party Around 50 people attended a 25th wedding anniversary party for Mr. & Mrs. Jack Stewart on Saturday evening at Usborne Central School, Their an- niversary is the 8th of December. Euchre was played and the following received prizes: Ladies high, Mrs. Wes Watson; ladies low, Mrs. Arnold Cann; men's high, Ray Stewart; men's low, Harry Hern; Lone hands, Wes Watson. Stage bazaar at Elimville By KATHY COOPER The Thames Road Elimville C.G.I.T. held their bazaar on Saturday, December 4 at the Elimville United Church. The theme of the bazaar was "Toyland". Donna Stewart read a reading. All members participated in a play called "Toyland." Following the program, the selling of crafts and baking began. Lunch followed. Persona Is Mr. & Mrs. Graden Fair- brother of Kitchener were Sunday guests of Mr. & Mrs, J. Wilson, Mrs. Ross Skinner spent the week with Mr. & Mrs. Jack Fouvious and Crystal of Wyoming. Mr. & Mrs. John Batten and Mr.& Mrs. Floyd Cooper at- tended the Exeter Nomad Christmas party held at the Dashwood Community Centre, Mrs. Ross Skinner and family visited with Mr. & Mrs. Jake Hovius and Crystal of Wyoming. Mrs. Hubert Heywood returned home after spending several weeks in the hospital. The C.G.I.T. Vesper Service will be held on Sunday, December 12 at Elimville United Church.
