Police Village of Dashwood of the Townships of Hay
and Stephen, in the County of Huron, that in com-
pliance with the Municipal Elections Act, 1972, Chap-
ter 95, and amendments, a Ballot will be held for the

The Christmas meeting of the Mrs. Marjorie Steeper gave a

family visited relatives around
this area on the weekend.
The first 5anday of Advent was
celebrated at Brinsley United
Church last Sunday by the
lighting of the first Advent
candle, The ceremony was
performed by Victor Dyck and
Sunday December 5 Bradley and.
Kevin Steeper took part in the
lighting of the two candles for the
service.
Neil Trevithick of Simcoe and
Marcia Lyons of Bramalea
visited with Mr. & Mrs, Jack
Trevithick on the weekend.
Sympathy is extended to Mr.
& Mrs. Alvin Faulder in the
passing of his mother Mrs.
Mooney.
Max Shepherd visited friends
in Lindsay over the weekend.
Ladies Guild of St. Marys
Church held their Christmas
meeting in the church basement
Wednesday evening.
Mrs, Don Scott chaired the
meeting in the absence of the
President. The worship service
was conducted by the hostesses
Mrs. Levi White and Mrs. Allan
Rowe, Christmas readings were
given by Mrs. Wes Lewis and
Mrs. Bill Dixon.

changed by the members and a
Christmas lunch was served by
the hostesses.
