Advent season commences
The commencement of the
Advent Season was observed in
Lucan United Church Sunday
when Rev, Ewart Madden chose
as his topic a scripture from
Isaiah 40 "0 Thou That Bringest
Good Tidings". After Isaiah was
purged by the seraph he
proclaimed the coming of One
bringing Good Tidings and Zion
must prepare herself for the
coming.
Their hearts must also be
purged and made pure.
Christians are told to do the same
today and no other group is in a
position to "get up into the high
places and proclaim the Good
Tidings."
This evening, Thursday at 7 the
Junior Choir will rehearse for
