THE SUNSHINE GALS GATHER AGAIN — This group of ladies
gathered again recently in St. Marys to mark the eleventh time they
have done so. Where does the name "Sunshine Gals" come from?
They all lived on farms in the same neighborhood and went to school
together at Sunshine Corners in Usborne Township. This picture was
taken at Mrs. Mildred Crago's home in St, Marys. Back row left to

Kirkton United Church
Anniversary was held Sunday.
Noble Grand Olive Hicks
presided on Wednesday evening
at Pride of Huron Rebeliah Lodge
when there was a good at-
tendance.
The Annual Report was given
by Lena Kirkland, PNG with a
total of 150 members. Joyce
Morgan VG gave the visiting
report stating several members
had been visited.
The Christmas Party will be
held Wednesday, December 15,
with dinner being served at 7
p.m., and gift exchange by the
members after the close of the
meeting.
Sunshine Boxes for the shut ins
to be brought to Lodge meeting
December 1, Bingo and a social
hour was spent at the close of the
meeting.
Mr, &Mrs, Harold Taylor, Mrs.
Earl Russell, Mrs. Norah Taylor
and Mrs. Herman Dettmer, at-
tended the funeral of an aunt
Mrs. Mervyn Brokenshire,
formerly of Exeter in Hager-
sville, Tuesday. Reverend Mary Mills was guest
preacher. The Junior and Senior
choirs rendered several lovely
anthems. In the evening the choir
held a sing song which was en-
joyed.

and Miss Ileene M. Hudson of St,

Wm. Maddock has returned
home after being a patient in St.
Marys Memorial Hospital.

spent a few days last week with
Mr. & Mrs. Philip Blackler ,and
Jessica.

There were 10 tables in play at
the euchre party in the Com-
munity Centre Monday night with
Mr. & Mrs. Earl Dixon and Mr.
Kenneth Hodgins in charge.
Prize winners were: ladies'
high score, Mrs. Jack Dickins;
ladies' lone hands, Mrs. Joe
Catter; low score, Margaret
Cook; men's high, Wm. Lam-
port; lone hands, Chas. Rollings;
low, George Aikens.
Senior Citizens met in the
Community Centre Monday for
an afternoon of crokinole and
cards followed by lunch.

in the Walton United Church,
Thursday.

Wm. Lambie in entertaining
relatives and friends in
celebration of their mother's 90th
