The following is a brief summary as to the condition of the land: Mr. Phipps, land -second crop, fall plowed, and twice in spring; soil, heavyoclay, sia eushela salt and half barrel of plaster to the acre. Mr. Margois's was cultivated similar to Mr. Phipps', but is old land, and instead of Pale and plaster he -used barn -yard remnre and rolled immediate. ly after first plowing iu the spring.
