South Huron competitors were prominent with three individual championships and one second place finish, Dorothy Van Esbroeck was first across the finish line in the midget girls division; Lucy Van Esbroeck was the junior girls champion and Paul Wareing proved to be best in the junior boys section. Runnerup in the senior boys race was West Abbott of South Huron. Paul Van Esbroeck was fourth and Frandis Hartman fifth in the same event. In midget girls, Diana Verlinde was fifth; Janet Bileke was fifth in the junior girls event and John Stephens was sixth among the midget boys com- petitors. Challenge from shooter As the result of his taking most of the awards each week at the Exeter claybird gun club, Bill McNutt has issued a challenge to anyone to better his score on any given day. Guns will be available for anyone wishing to take up the challenge., Bill was the winner again on Saturday when he knocked off 24 targets. In class "B" the winner was Larry •Mason with a 22. Randy Stanlake was next with 20, Tim Oliver with a score of 18 was best in the "C" division while Doug Bender and' Brian Wedlake were deadlocked for se- cond with 15.
