IN MEMORIAM
HAUGH — In loving memory of a
dear daughter, Debbie who was
taken so suddenly, 3 years ago,
October 6, 1973.
Our hearts still ache with sadness,
The secret tears still flow,
Why God took our dear Debbie
We will never know,
When we see her picture she seems
to smile
And say, Don't cry I'm only sleeping,
We'll meet again someday,
This seems -so hard to understand,
Still somehow we must try,
The saddest words we'll ever know
Will always be goodbye.
So when God took Debbie and we
were left behind
We know how much God loves her
For angels are hard to find,
And we know she is safe in the arms
of Jesus.
Dearly loved and so deeply missed
by mom and Ed. 41c
HAUGH — In loving memory of a
dear sister, Debbie who passed
away, October 6, 1973.
You are not forgotten Debbie
Nor ever will you be
As long as life and memory lasts
We will remember thee.
Lovingly remembered and sadly
missed by sister Jacqui and brother-
in-law Charlie, 41nc
HAUGH — In loving memory of a
daughter and sister Debbie, who
passed away three years ago,
October 6, 1973.
Oh, what would we give to clasp your
hand
Your dear kind face to see;
Your loving smile, your welcome
voice,
That meant so much to us
No one knows the silent heartache
Only those who have such can tell
Of the grief that is borne in silence
For the one we loved so well.
Lovingly remembered by dad,
Sally, brother Michael, stepbrother
Michael, and stepsister Barb. 41p
HAUGH — In loving memory of a
dear niece Debbie who passed away,
three years ago, October 6, 1973,
0 happy hours we once enjoyed
How sweet the memory still
But death has left a loneliness
The world can never fill.
Lovingly remembered and sadly
missed by Don and Kim Hunt. 41c
IN MEMORIAM.,
McCANN — In loving memory of a
dear husband and father Laurence
who passed away, October 8, 1972.
A smile we will always remember
A voice we will never forget
Fond memories to treasure forever
And a loss we will always regret.
Sadly missed and always
remembered by Noreen and
family 41c
SMITH — In loving memory of a dear
son and brother, Daniel Wayne who
passed away suddenly, 3 years ago,
October 7,1973.
Three years ago we had to part
With you we loved with all our heart,
We hide our tears when we speak
your name,
But the ache in our heart remains the
same.
They say time heals all sorrow,
And helps one to forget,
But time so far has only proved
How much we miss you yet,
Looking back with memories,
Upon the past we trod,
We bless the years we had with you,
And leave the rest with God.
Sadly missed by mom and dad,
sister Deb and brother Doug, 41p
PRESSEY — In loving memory of a
dear friend, Calvin Pressey, who
passed away one year ago, October 5,
1975,
You meant so very much to us,
That nothing we can say,
Can fill the sadness in our hearts
As we think of you each day.
It doesn't matter the day or year
There are always memories, always
tears
Memories don't fade, they just grow
deep
For a friend we loved, but could not
keep,
Always remembered by Bev,
Doris, Dianne, and Gordie

SCIENTIST TEACHES FROM THE BIBLE
Dr, Art Moore has a rather unlikely educational
background for teaching the Bible. He holds B.S. and
M.S, degrees from the College of Environmental
Science and Forestry, Syracuse University, Syracuse,
N.Y.; and a PH.D. in insect toxicology from the
University of California, Berkeley, Ca.
He taught forest entomology at the University of
California, Berkeley; led research in pathology,
physiology and toxicology at the Forest Insect Lab.,
Beltsville, Md. ; and served as leader of a 44 man U.S.
Forest Service research project evaluating insec-
ticides for use in forest ecosystems.
In 1967 he read the New Testament and accepted
Jesus Christ as his Lord, receiving what he calls "an
undeserved baptism of love from God". Since June of
1969, he has devoted full time to Christian teaching
and missionary work, correlating Biblical truth and
scientific knowledge with our everyday human ex-
periences. He speaks on the subject, "The
Magnificence of Genesis",
LECTURER
Art taught forest entomology at the University of
California,, Berkeley from 1954 to 1959. He left
teaching in 1959 to start a basic research project in
patholog.y, physiology, and toxicology at the Forest
Insect Laboratory, Beltsville, Md. Returning to
California in 1964 he served as leader of a 44 Man-U.S.
Forest service research project evaluating insec-
ticides for use in forest ecosystems, Three years later
he began to have a strong desire to study the Bible. An
experience that led hitn to accept Christ as his Lord
and baptism in God's love.
He started teaching again in 1969, but now his
principal texts are the books of the Bible, He has
taught on the general theme of Science and Scripture
throughout the U.S. and Canada (includin camps
north of the Yukon along the Alaskan pipeline),

IN MEMORIAM —
BIBI3Y — In loving memory of a
dear son and brother Tom, who
passed away one year ago, October
10,1975.
Thinking of you as a year draws near
But then that is nothing new
We thought about you yesterday,
Tom
And the day before that tool
We do not need a special day
To bring you to our mind
The days we do not think of you
Are truly hard to find.
We never ask for miracles
But to-day just one would do
To see the front door open
And see our Tom come walking
through,
Lovingly remembered and sadly
missed by mom and dad, and sisters
and brothers. 41p

When we think of times gone by

How much we miss you yet.

beloved father and grandfather
Hiram, who passed away October 12,
1969.
If only I could see you Dad,
Your hand I could but touch
And hear you say hello to me
Things wouldn't hurt so much
When we are sad and lonely
And everything goes wrong
We seem to hear you whisper
Cheer up and carry on
Each time we look at your picture
You seem to smile and say
Don't cry I'm only sleeping
We'll meet again someday.
Your place on earth
No one can fill
We love you and always will.

But in our hearts is where we know
We're wishing you were here.
