eligible for a grant of $11,666 to
relocate and build an addition to

eligible for a grant of $4,750 to
upgrade a tennis court,
The Goderich township
Recreation Board will receive
softball equipment valued at
$1,206 from the Wintario office,
and the Ashfield township
Recreation Committee will

The Howick Township
Municipal Recreation Committee
will receive $925 to buy uniforms
for hockey and softball teams.

assistance under the Ontario
Home Renewal Program
(OHRP),
Exeter has approximately
$30,000 available to loan to
homeowner occupants to repair
their houses to an acceptable
municipal minimum standard.
The prime objective of the
program is the correction of
faulty structural and sanitary
conditions and the upgrading of
plumbing, heating and electrical
systems of the house.
OHRP is directly oriented to
low and moderate income
homeowners with a maximum
annual income of $12,500,
Loans of up to $7,500 -can be
given!to eligible owner occupants.
A portion of the loan can be
"forgiven" depending upon the
income of the recipient. Interest
rates vary from zero to eight
percent, again depending on
income.
