Stacey Rader was a house guest with Mr. & Mrs. Charles Martene during the weekend. Mrs. Ralph Weber has returned home after spending some time with Mr. & Mrs. Eric Eagleson, Marshall, Marianne and baby Robbie, Little Current, Manitoulin Island. Mr. & Mrs. Gerald Mason, Judy and Doug and Mr. & Mrs. Larry Mason and Jennifer en- joyed a trip to Tobermory on the weekend. They had a boat ride on the M.S. Chi-Cheemaun to Manitoulin Island and back. Just in time for back to school, Mrs. Vesta Miller and aunts of the bride were hostess at Mrs. Miller's home for a miscellaneous shower for their niece Miss Sherrie Ford bride- elect of September. Some 20 relatives were present. Sherrie was a recipient of many lovely gifts for which she graciously thanked all. Bill Chandler, London, has returned home from St. Joseph's hospital, London, following surgery. Mrs. Frieda Keller attended the baptism of Sara Melany, chosen daughter of Roger and Barbara Keller at Good Shepherd Lutheran church, London. She is the 35th grandchild for Mrs. Keller. Mrs. Henry Becker, ac- companied by her grand- daughter, Marilyn Pfaff of Exeter visited Saturday in Kit- chener with Mrs. Becker's brother, Nelson Brandt, at the Sunnyside Nursing home, and other relatives there. Mr. & Mrs. Gus Van Massenhoven and family visited Sunday in Watford with Mr. & Mrs. Matthew Vanderheyden and family. Saturday visitors with Mrs. Theresa Brannon, Michael, Paul and Pauline were Mr, & Mrs. Russell Boone and family of Stratford. By MRS. IRVIN RADER DASH WOOD Mr. & Mrs. Ross Love returned home after a 3 week holiday with • Mr. & Mrs, Lloyd Love of Parkhill. They went by scenic Lake Superior route, stopping in Winnipeg to visit cousins, Edith and Mike Shelfontuck and family then on to Moosejaw to visit with uncle Alec and aunt Belle Love and to Moss Bank to the Love homestead to spend a day with Alec's son, Hugh and family. Travelling to Saskatoon by way of Deifenbaker Lake and Gar- dener Dam to call on cousins, Bella Farrell and Mrs. Tina Locke. Travelling from Jasper to Banff they stopped at Lake Louise and Columbia Ice fields where the cool winds reminded them of winter just ahead. From there they visited Golden Kamloops, the Thompson river and Fraser Canyon Route to Vancouver, over to the Island and Butchart Gardens, visiting the beautiful Elizabeth Park in Vancouver before starting home by way of the Salmo-Creston Skyway and Crows Nest Pass. At Lethbridge, they visited the beautiful Japanese Gardens, then by way of the Peace Gardens on the Manitoba North Dakota Border and home. Personals Mrs. Garnet Willert,- Mr. & Mrs. Ray Van Dorsselaer and Susan were Sunday guests with Mr. & Mrs. Elmer Rader and family, Stratford. Also present was Mrs. Hilda Haugh of Clinton. Mrs. Laura Deters spent Sunday ,at London where she attended the baptism of her first great grandchild at Redeemer Lutheran church. He is Scott Jason, son of Mr. & Mrs. Don Young. Mr. & Mrs. Art Haugh, London, spent a few days last week with Miss Pearl Kraft. Lloyd Howe, Mary-Jo and Shelley, Lac du Bonnet, Manitoba, spent a few days with Mr. & Mrs, Irvin Rader and other members of the family. Wed- nesday evening, was spent with Mr. & Mrs. Dave Rader and Stacey at a barbeque.
