Early in July several members and some visitors toured -4the Huron County Jail and Museum in Goderich. This event 'cvas arranged by the Tweedsmuir History committee and proved to be most interesting. Mid-July many members assisted in a food booth at a local farm sale. On July 28, members of the W.I, and ladies in the surroun- ding community travelled by bus to Warren, Michigan, to attend a Quilt Exposition, sponsored by " the Womens Association of the McComb County Community College. Those attending reported seeing a great variety of quilts as there were between 3,000 or 4,000 on display. Members of the W.I. planning to attend the Huron Country Playhouse on AuguSt 11 are reminded that the cars will be leaving the hall at 7:15 p.m. New family in Woodham By MISS JEAN COPELAND WOODHAM Visitors during the weekend with Mrs. Arthur Hopkin were Mrs. Garnel Ford, Flint, Michigan, Mr. & Mrs. Jim Drake of London, Mr. & Mrs. Norman Robinson of Anderson, Mrs. Frank Kelland of Londesboro and Miss Yvonne Jaques of Zion West. Dr. Violet Henry and Miss Eva Henry of Toronto spent the weekend with their sister, Mrs. Oliver Hazlewood. Mrs. Ray Mills of St. Marys returned to her home in St. Marys on Thursday after spending a few days with Miss Rhea Mills. We welcome Mr. & Mrs. Dick Jongkind and Megan to the village.
